Who writes this, and how tools get picked
Short version: every tool here is in active use for real freelance and creator work before it earns a spot on the site.
The Freelance AI Stack is written and maintained independently — no agency, no uncredited guest posts, and no sponsored placements beyond the affiliate links already disclosed on this site. A tool gets added because it’s genuinely part of the writing, voice, or admin workflow behind freelance client work, not because a program pays well.
Where a tool falls short, that’s in the review too — see the “who it’s not for” section on each one. The goal is to save you the week of trial-and-error that usually comes with picking an AI tool, not to sell you the first thing that pays a commission.
How this site makes money, and which links are affiliate links, is laid out in full on the disclosure page.
